« on: April 09, 2015, 02:43:39 PM »
The Youngstown State Penguin Club and O'Charley's Restaurant will be hosting a Pre-Game Party prior the Red-White Spring Football Game on Friday, April 17. The price of the event also includes a game ticket.

The event starts at 6 p.m. and will be held indoors at Stambaugh Stadium Gym C. For Penguin Club members, the cost is $15 while the non-member price is $17. The game will kickoff at 7:30 p.m.

During the evening, members of the YSU Football Coaching staff will be in attendance to visit with fans. All guests receive a complimentary game ticket ($5) and are entered into a drawing to win some great prizes such as Spring Game sideline passes, autographed footballs, YSU polo shirts, loge tickets and much more.

The menu includes penne, meatballs, chicken tenders, green bean almandine and house salad. Drinks will be available.

The deadline for the event is Monday, April 13. For more information or to make a reservation contact Tom Morella with the Penguin Club at (330) 941-2581 or fill out the form above.

Last year I won the first raffle and had a pick of a variety of prizes. I took an autographed football.

My group got a couple. Loge seats was one. Way too quiet in the loge, not really any fun. If you win skip it, the only perk was it was air conditioned which was nice its usually hot against the weenie teams.

They are stepping up the food this year from the hot dog buffet last year. I imagine we'll get 10 times the turnout. Hope so anyway.

FYI.

There will be a group of students, faculty members from YSU's STEM College and WCBA (business) College at a cook out gathering at the stadium before game time.

Both Deans of the two colleges and the Provost are expected to address the group.

Coach Pelini is scheduled to join the group at 6 pm.

The group plans to attend the Spring Game also. I plan to be there.
