The Youngstown State men's basketball team is accepting registrations for its 2015 summer camp series. The Penguins will hold three individual camps and a team shootout this summer.
The Team Shootout is June 7 from 8 a.m. to 7 p.m. and costs $320 for varsity teams and $250 for junior varsity squads.
The first of the three individual camps is the Advance Skills Camp, June 11-12, from 6-8 p.m. each day. This camp is geared toward grades 6-12 as of the Fall of 2015 and costs $60.
Campers will receive specific instruction on improving footwork, shooting technique, ball handling, passing, rebounding, and offensive and defensive individual and team concepts.
There will be a focus on developing fundamental skills necessary for successful team play; applying skills learned in game situations; and receive quality instruction provided by the Youngstown State Men's Basketball coaching staff.
The Full Court Camp runs from June 15-18 from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. and is open to grades 6-11 as of the Fall of 2015. The cost of the Full Court Camp is $145.
The Half Court Camp is June 22-25 from 8:30 a.m. to Noon and costs $95. This camp is geared twoard grades 2-9 enter the Fall of 2015.
