Spam on the board

Why does it take so long to get spam removed from the board?  They posted this at 530AM and I am still seeing advertisements for shemales.

Sorry. I had to ban them and did not get to it until just now. I usually get them in the early morning.

1-AA, I assumed you had timing issues and am discussed at the spammers, but fine with you.  What I don't understand is why some idiot would work to post trash like this on any site, much less a classy blog like you operate?
NO ANSWER requested or expected, it just never ceases to amaze me the trash out there!

Well not to bore everyone, but these are robots ...or SPAMbots. Not real people. The Internet is divided into about 5 sections ...ARIN controls most of North America. Generally I ban almost everything outside of ARIN. However, they still get through. If I block a particular Internet host, I may be blocking legitimate board users. So, I don't care if I block one from China, but I do care if I block on from the US.
