If we had an offense this team could be dangerous.  The D is that good.
Good coaching for the D....  Watch out for onside kick...
Are you kidding me

This offensive play calling is unreal... Wells is so shaky. Ricky Davis anybody?

So are you going to blame that idiotic attempt to return the kickoff on Montgomery as well? Put the blame where it belongs ...we have no o-line & as you said ...Wells is more than questionable. Now we are giving the game away.

Hunter Wells doesn't look very impressive.  That was a badly thrown ball for the pick.

as for the D ...we cannot keep bringing in deep players to blitz. A good team will hit us for a pile of yards in the air

Kick return is one thing... This play calling is just unimaginable to me. How can Pelini put up with this? I agree, Wells just doesn't look good. Hasn't all year... That could be why the play calling is so vanilla but I doubt it. And the fact that Wells gives no running threat hurt us as well.

Weaknesses that were not exposed with our NEC schedule are now exposed with our first 62 scholly team of the season.  So Wells (now w/ 2 INTs today with a stalled offense) is starting because Davis is not a great passer??  When the O line allows 2 sacks, hurries, and a false start....you need a mobile QB.

D carrying the team and has allowed the O to take most of the game off.  YSU catching a break as USD injured their best rusher.

The dropped balls look just as bad as Ohio State's receivers.

I know. I am switching between games. I am not sure if OSU deserves to be #1.

If this offensive line doesn't start to gel, could be a long year.  I thought they were supposed to be good?

Defense was dominating. I do think USD was a little overrated. QB isn't very good. But we have to HAVE to fix the offense. Teams are gonna exploit is going forward, as in past years.

Nice win for the penguins today! 31-3 is a nice sound win to open up in the MVFC. Got a big one coming up next with Ill State!! Looking forward to it. Let's go guins! And in regards to the ysufan who said that Rivers could be playing on Sundays, I couldn't agree with you anymore. Rivers is put together, athletic, smart, and flat out play.

The offense needs to clean it up, but lets be happy here. The defense is looking great! And we beat a team that is trending up, that we usually struggle against, by a large margin. Starting conference play 1-0 is nice.
