Men"s basketball @ Gulf coast
« on: November 20, 2015, 06:04:38 PM »
3 games in three days.  I'm going to two of the games and the good news is if you love Handel's ice cream(only one in Florida) there is one just 9 miles south of the college.

YSU with more starters fouled out, including Hain.  fingers crossed.

Too many turnovers down the stretch... Gave this one away because of our inability to rebound the ball. This team has some raw talent.

what a tough one again today first FB, now BB. What an exciting game that was. Folks if you missed this one, you missed a great one. This team has a very good basketball IQ, but could not get rythm going late & rushed everything. They had an easy 5-pint lead and then shot wildly for the loss. Slocum did very well on the sidelines. BG is going to be a lot tougher tomorrow.

I guess Jerry will have to wait for Theil for his 700th. I can't wait for a new HC.

The MBB game was like a track meet or played like a NBA all star game.. Up and down the court.

Yes, a tough weekend. In was not a complete cycle for me since the Browns did not loose.
My complete down cycle is when these teams all lost (YSU FB, MBB, OSU & Browns) coupled with a Steelers win. Browns did not lose and Steelers did not win... It is only half of a cycle.

Just got back from the game.  The guys played their butts off.  A couple of illegal screens call crushed us.  The zone was better tonight and the guards scraped down when the ball went in the post but we still gave too many 2nd chances to FGCU.  Great crowd support for FGCU.    Tough tough loss.  Hope the guys can bounce back from an emotional loss.
