We have 18 committed currently. I suspect some more kids may be leaving the program. We shall see.

Anybody have any insites on QB's?  We have at 3 seniors who all want to start plus a sophmore.  Maybe Mays waits them out, but at least one of the seniors is going to be firmly planted on the bench, and they all want to play.  Somebody may want out.  Also Townsend is still on the roster but he is out at least half the season with drugs.  Could he play Div. II right away if he transfers vs sit out 1/2 the year?

A few items if anyone knows:

1. Does Townsend sit for sure & does it start at infraction, or is it some type of regular season violation?

2. With the type of recruits that we have been getting, there is bound to be academic casualties. If anyone knows how many that we had from last year to this year, we could use that figure as an estimate; as I think this year would be even higher.

I would assume he's a walk on.

Sorry I mean:

1. Does anyone know if the 6-month penalty for weed is penalized by 6-months straight from the time issued, or 6-months during the season?

2.If we knew how many players we lost due to academics last year, this year should be just as high, if not higher. If the academic casualties were on scholarship, those can be added to our totals.

I haven't a clue, but your potential "opportunity" for additional scholarships certainly rings true.  Some guys just aren't cut out for college, plus all the other distractions, and certainly not everybody gets along with any coach.  Bo is certainly better with his players the Wolford was, as I recall we lost 16 to Wolford one year along, but Bo will have dropouts too.

This kid has great football instincts and is a hitter.  Really shines on special teams.  You need this kind of player in your program.

Yes, already mentioned as a walk-on. Don't see he or Jackson seeing the field for the guins.

I really like this kid alot Cole Watts from Tampa, Florida..He looks to be signing with Western Illinois and we have been pursuing him all along. He could be the next great Defensive End at YSU..Hope we can change his mind https://www.hudl.com/video/3/4336741/581bf706688ec4fd143387fd
