Joey Hobbs, a 6-5, 260 pound DE was offered and visited over the weekend. Went to high school in Mechanicsburg, PA.

Was arrested along with his brother for attempted robbery and was sentenced to jail time. Went and played at Independence CC in Kansas.

Kid definitely has the size and tools for Bo and Carl to work with. Let's see if we can get him.

Has offers from UT-Martin, Colorado State and Toledo.

We lost a couple good safeties, 2 terrific RBs and the best pair of DEs we'll ever see at YSU, but looks like we have loaded up with some really good looking replacements.  Obviously MVFC football is a lot tougher competition then the opponents in the HUDL videos, but sure looks like a good, need specific, recruiting class.  Several of these guys could/should/need to step in and help immediately and quite a few will help on special teams as soon as on the roster (assuming several will redshirt)
IMO, overall much better than last year's class.

Yep, tomorrow. Sometime in the late afternoon like it usually is. Haven't heard a specific time.

Thanks.  I could do the voice over for his presser.  He is a darn good coach, but not much with the microphone!  “This kid is a really good RB, this kid is a really good DE etc.”

In a VERY rough count, I have 19 players and 18 spots, so somebody I have listed as a scholarship player is walking on, or has flipped like Lezzer or somebody is leaving, but I show only 1 overlap, so could easily be OK.  Bo can count to 20, I'm pretty sure. (Buckeye grad right?)

Looks like it. (not Durkin) If they seem worthy they can always be offered later.

I'm unsure on a point of split scholarships.  If you have to be on an athletic scholarship to participate in a game, so partial scholarships count toward that?  IE, if we give 4 kids 25% schollies, can they all play?
