I watched the entire game on espn3 for the first time this year. They played a complete game with good intensity.
Cam put on a show.
On the last play of the game, when we were just ready to inbound the ball, CBS sport streamed an score alert on my iPad saying that ysu has won the game by 1. It spoiled the drama. However, I was able to enjoy the last 5.5 second of our wining play.

I'm still flying after that game.  Morse and Kaufman played great while Donlan and Hartfield struggled tonight.  Oakland had a home court advantage and got most of the calls (24 to 9 foul shot adv).

Keep on grinding !!!

That makes up for that damn implosion against Oakland a few years back on the inbounds pass.... damn Fletcher Larson.

Congrats Coach Slocum and Team 💪🏼💪🏼💪🏼

What an amazing college basketball game from start-to-finish!  YSU is finally playing like the team one envisioned earlier in the year.  It's been a long time since they won back-to-back Horizon League games.  So happy the seniors are getting a chance to enjoy success.

And now Valpo gets knocked off by Milwaukee!  4 tourney games and all upset.  The only team left YSU hasn't beaten this year that's left is UIC and easily could have won both with one going to OT & the other down to the wire.

They showed  the final seconds of the YSU game on sporscenter (ESPN) this morning.  How neat.

The amount of national publicity this received is incredible. Reminds me of Kevin Reader's TD catch!

I think you can see that if YSU wins in basketball the interest would be there, thus better attendance, better recruiting, and the kids will stay.

so all 4 games of the tourny the lower seed has won, lets hope that trend continues.

We play the winner of Wright State and Northern Kentucky on Monday at 7pm

Who do we match up better with ?

The link to the last play shown on ESPN is listed on the ysu basketball website. It also has the ysu audio play by play call  for the winning basket.

I think this really shows just how much attendance can do for a team's motivation. I know that many may wish other, but if coach Slocum returns next year (or whomever) this team deserves fans in the stands.

Green Bay and Wright State also lost today.  Top four seeds are gone.  Three out of the four teams in the semifinals have losing records.  As ridiculous as this seems, we have as good a shot as anybody.  The brackets were set up to reward the #1 and #2 seeds with today off before the semifinals.  Milwaukee and YSU "stole" that rest and might have a slight advantage tomorrow.

Northern Kentucky was the #4 seed and Wright state #5 right ? I thought i saw NKU was the home team in that game ? if so that was the only game won by the higher seed in the tourny
