Pitt Game Tailgating
« on: August 29, 2017, 04:15:58 PM »
Anybody have advice on this? Or anybody tailgating at Pitt before the game? Last time, I tailgated with someone who had passes and a parking space.

Also, can we just park outside the tailgating lots and carry in sealed 24 packs of beer to the tailgating lots?

Last time we parked in a separate lot, (directly across from there the buses enter the stadium) that grew by game time; but we wound up in the main parking lot talking with others, so this year we are going to park with the rest of the YSU tailgaters. There is the "OC" and "Panther Hollow" lots. Most of the YSU fans were in the OC.

So if I didn't have a pass IAA, I can just park somewhere and carry a closed 24 pack of beer into the OC lot to tailgate?

Sure, but keep it covered. That is right downtown.
