Brandon Finamore, a 6-6 280 OT from Chabot College in CA has committed.
When I think we have too many OTs, I'll let you know, but this kid isn't very highly rated in JUCO.  I saw him listed as the 67th best OL in JUCO for 2017

Salem QB Mitch Davidson is walking on.

He is listed as a dual threat QB. But at 5'9 1/2" and 4.8 sec for 40, are you sure he is a threat for either running or passing?

He's 6-4 lol, and a walk-on. Don't read too much into it.

Legit 6'4" for sure, but legit 5.97 40 also.  32 TDs and 2571 yds as a senior.  Certainly a RS year coming and will provide an "arm" in practice at the very least.  This one is NOT a dual threat unless you consider short passes and long passes "dual threats".  This is a throw first, second and as a last resort I can always throw it guy!

At that height and weight I would move him over to d-line, seems a bit light and not likely to get any heavier after two years of college.

first, we don't know what he weights, only what is listed.  I see 280. 285, and 290.  This is a kid that came out of HS as a 6-4 220# TE and grew 2" and added at least 50# at JC.  at 280 he will outweigh every DE he will face by 20-30# already, but I wouldn't doubt he is 300 by fall camp.  This kid doesn't have the build, athleticism or speed to play DE.  This is an OL for sure.

My mistake.

When I Googled "Mitch Davidson", the QB with same name from "Columbiana, Ohio" showed up.
He was listed as  5'9 1/2" and 4.8 sec for 40.

Pretty odd coincidence isn't it?

I am not thinking DE, rather a DT instead of an OT.

at 6-6, a DT?  that would be very rare.  too many cut blocks inside.  you see many more DTs at 6-1 280
Guy is an OT.

Dra Rushton of Liberty received an offer and is more than likely going to sign with the Penguins.

Only real offer was from Air Force

Your point??
Dra has committed.
Also had an offer from Albany, and D2 Malone.

Henry Yoboue has committed. A 6-8, 310 OT from Asa College in NY. Was committed to UAB but decommitted yesterday. Had offers from Arizona State, Kent, among others.

too small, I think we should throw him back.  NOT!
A lot of the stats from JC's you can take with a grain of salt.  In this case, I think the 6-8 is UNDERSTATED.  This guy is HUGE.
Fall camp is going to be a treat to watch.  We have a BUNCH of DE's.  A couple should be pretty good and a couple are PROVEN good.  We have a bunch of OT's that all think they are going to start.  Should be a war from the first snap!  That is how you get competitive in the MVFC.
