Former Youngstown State tight end Kevin Rader has signed an undrafted free agent contract with the Green Bay Packers while wide receiver Damoun Patterson and offensive tackle Justin Spencer have been invited to attend NFL rookie mini camps.

Patterson will take part in the Pittsburgh Steelers' mini camp while Spencer has been invited to attend the Indianapolis Colts' camp.

Rader caught a career-high 22 passes for 272 yards and two touchdowns, averaging 11.1 yards per reception. He played in his final 38 games for the Penguins, starting 24 contests in his final two seasons.

Spencer started 50 straight games in his YSU career at various spots on the offensive line. He was a first-team All-MVFC selection as a senior after earning second-team honors as a junior and honorable-mention as a freshman.

Patterson played in 26 games during his two years with the program, starting 18 times. He had 32 receptions in 2017 for 555 yards and four touchdowns. He was also a force on special teams finishing with eight tackles.
