Youngstown State softball Head Coach Brian Campbell has announced infielder Sydnee Harris has signed a National Letter of Intent to join the Penguins for the 2019 season.

Harris, a native of Milford, Ohio, was a four-year letterwinner at Milford High School, was a two-time all-conference selection and posted a career batting average of .441. As a junior, Harris scored 40 runs with 17 RBIs, 13 doubles and 15 stolen bases.

She  becomes the sixth recruit in the 2018 recruiting class and joins Sarah Bader (Baltimore, Ohio), Grace Cea (Canton, Ohio) Alex DeLeon (Warrington, Pa.), Addy Jarvis (Girard, Ohio) and Kayla Rutherford (Youngstown, Ohio).
