They have some pieces but they're young and still learning to play together.

They actually improved over last couple of games. There were some good penetrations by #3 & #22. Too many easy points given up on those traps.

Thought it was a good effort and fought hard to climb back into the game twice.  Whether it's youth or what, YSU really has trouble closing out games and needs to learn how to win.  Foul shooting and the inside game was really the difference in this one.  Oakland was 20-22 and YSU just 9-18.  Their inside game killed us and our bigs combined for 3 points.

I thought Morgan and Quisenberry were excellent and it was nice to see Akuchie have a good game.

You just have to wonder if we had Naz and Morgan both games if we aren't 2-0 in the league.

Putting Oakland In the bonus less than 7 minutes into the 1st half was a problem.   The big men need to learn to play D without silly fouls.  Most bigs of many teams have this problem since they're going for block shots and playing physical defending the post.

Naz was in street clothes on the bench and looked animated so hopefully he'll be back sooner than later.
