INDIANAPOLIS - Youngstown State senior Chad Zallow has been named the Horizon League Men's Runner of the Week for his performance at the Clyde Littlefield Texas Relays this past weekend, the league announced on Tuesday.
Zallow finished fifth in a strong 110m hurdles finals field at the Texas Relays. Zallow got off to a strong start in the race and was leading after the 5th hurdle while ultimately finishing in a time of 13.70 seconds.
The Penguins return to the track this Friday when they host the running and field events for the Northeast Ohio Quad at Farmers National Bank Field. The meet will get underway with the men's long jump at 12:30 p.m.
