Well, we don't need to worry about JT going to OSU, that's for sure.  Strollo for sure will be done, not sure about others, but AD only is unlikely.

Has any of the local media picked up on this?   Wow, this is awful and someone needs to be held accountable.  My gut tells me nothing will be done.  We are a mid major that the national media cares nothing about, and the local media is lame.  Tressel will get this buried to protect his man, Ron Strollo.

You will see,  nothing will happen.   Aside from this, the majority of Strollo's athletic programs are losers, the athletic department is irrelevant.   Even football.

I always wondered what happened with Umude.  He was really coming into his own.  At the time it seemed like he was just going to be out for awhile then he was gone.

Sexual assaults happen every day on American college campuses.  They are all terrible and disgusting but really not unexpected.  What is unexpected, truly unbelievable, is Strollo signing off on the coaching hire of an athlete who participated in this type of behavior.

Strollo is not evil, and he undoubtedly tries his best.  But he lacks the "people" skills to be an effective AD. The 2016 championship game "ticketgate," bad decisions in coaching hires (Tisha Hill, anyone,) the failure to build seating for spectators for track meets in the WATTS, the failure to use that West Virginia basketball game as a tool to increase the season ticket base, and now this bizarre incident.  The university deserves better.

So let me play the devils advocate,

Unless I missed it did any of the guys admit to the charges or was it her word against theirs?

Any other witnesses?

Bothers me that it was not reported for a year.

Bottom line is that maybe, just maybe, there are some more facts out there that we are not aware of. Time will tell.

Some of you are unreal. The fact this kid is HEAD COACH of WOMENS tennis is unbelievable. Typical YSU and Youngstown culture though.

Yeah this looks terrible and it's mind boggling how it could ever have happened.

That being said, I believe I read that JT signed an extension yesterday and isn't going anywhere, so business as usual I guess. No harm no foul? I'd say Strollo is safe unless there is a huge public outcry around this. I'm not in the area but I don't get the feeling this is getting much traction locally? Is that accurate?

No local coverage on it at all. YSU administration trying to sweep it under the rug and make it seem like not a big deal as usual.

So why wasn’t their criminal charges?  Don’t see that addressed? Sounds like to me there are a few things missing in the story.

Thanks Chief. I'm not surprised by that in the least...which is sad to say.

I wonder what their plan is if this breaks nationally, which it very well could. Very timely topic for some young journalist looking to make a splash. The SJW crew would eat them alive.
