I said he was a good coach, not a miracle-worker.
Montgomery was not fired fron UNC-C. He left for JMU and the head coach (of UNC-C) was fired. Coach M was not fired from YSU either. No need to run to his aide, just upset that we let him walk away and have a bunch of HS coaches in charge. Meanwhile a consistent top team in the nation goes after coach M and gets him.#1 in scoring#2 in 3rd-downs#10 rushing offense#3 in passing efficiency#6 red zone offense#8 in time-of-possession#3 in total yards regular season (almost 6,000)#7 total offenseAll of this helps equal #2 winning percentage.
