Coming out of high school, Crenshaw was the highest rated quarterback that we ever recruited. And he earned his reputation by playing against some of the best high school teams in Ohio.  Relatively speaking, Waid played against weak high school competition.  I am not surprised that Crenshaw apparently pulled ahead of Waid in the qb derby.  I agree with Double ET about Craycraft.  When he is at the controls, nothing happens.

I understand that Crenshaw made some great passes in the last scrimage and the new wide outs look good. We need a qb that can run and pass to make up for weaknesses in our offense.  Crenshaw seems to do both well. He looks the part to me with his size, speed, and strength.  Looks like a big time player.
