I beg to differ.   The Dakota schools have us beat in atmosphere but that is it.  We should be 3rd.   Behind NDSU and SDSU.

It's been over 25 years since Stambaugh was relevant.  The person rating the stadiums was likely not even born when YSU had lively crowds.  Although Stambaugh was pretty loud in 2006 against JMU and Illinois State! However, the paid attendance was less than 12,000 for those games.

If we put our fans inside a barn like some other schools, the atmosphere may be more to the writers liking..

Yes I agree Guinpen. Maybe we will lay some turf in Beeghly, so they can sit there and feel at home. We can broadcast the game on the the tron. They have no idea what cold and snow is until they get a cold Canadian front across Lake Erie. Atmosphere has certainly deteriorated though. Going to take some wins to change that. Pride is a thing of the past.

Wonder if Stambaugh was a dome if we would get more fans to the game?   just a thought but i like the outdoor stadiums
