They are worried they are losing their dynasty.  The players have openly stated that they don't have the same levels of talent they has a few years ago in press conferences.  They've probably given Entz an ultimatum, leave or be fired.

All about money and opportunity. Per yahoo report he is making $400k at NDSU. Gotta be more at USC. And he’s getting a step up in the coaching ranks by moving from the minor leagues to the majors.

So far, they have been very good at that.

And the natives are restless.  They haven't beaten SDSU in the last 5 games.  They fell as if they've watched their dynasty pass them.  Attendance is heading south too.

I was reading in the dispatch that the salaries for position coaches is usually based on tenure. Coordinators and up have a salary structure.  At OSU, position coaches go from $300k to $515k
