Toledo has posted their upcoming basketball schedule on their website. They are indeed coming to Youngstown on December 14. Western Michigan has not posted their current schedule, but there is no reason to believe that SAHDPanda does not have it right.

So we spent about a month cursing about nothing. It would be helpful if people triple checked information before they posted it.

Westminster is an exhibition game on the schedule.   Westminster basketball schedule says exhibition.

The secret missions continue out of stambaugh and beeghly offices. I get it you don't wanna say anything until contracts are signed but this is all the time.  What do they think they're hiding?

They just finalized the woman's schedule so men's should be pretty soon.

Kind of a tease with no non-conference schedule yet.

Two layups and Two 3 pointers.  Not sure what WMU has but Toledo's usually good.

14 home games.  Hard schedule.  I expect 18 wins minimum.  We have talent and 2 seven footers.

Now that the football season seems to over let's turn our attention to the men's and women's basketball.   Little over a month away until the home opener(double header).  YSU is now a basketball school since football is so bad.  Revamped beeghly and 2 new coaches.   Lots to be excited for.  Lots of excitement around the basketball programs and they can be good too.  Men's team retooled after last seasons 22 wins and women's team seems to be making progress.  It is now a basketball school I hate to say it but it is.

Pride,

That is your way of dealing with this unmitigated disaster, and that is fine. My way is different. I will not go to any basketball games or any other YSU sporting event until the football mess is resolved.

Lots of football yet to play.

Wish nothing but the best for both new bb coaches.

Being labeled a football or basketball school takes more than having a better year or two then the other sport. There has to be a history of winning something and bb is not there yet. I do not favor one over the other just saying the way it is right now.
