Well we sure better win this week, they are 1 and 3 winning a game over Dayton. Losses to Eastern Ill and Houston Christian ( never heard of them ).

Last game Indy ran 2-1 over passing.

Will be closer than we think.  They will try to run it down our throat and we all know what kind of run defense we have.   None.

We need a confident win this week…build on something. Eliminate the mistakes and make some plays on defense!!

Hopefully we don’t fall behind early. We don’t have a quick strike offense to score lots of points fast. Historically, Indiana State always had a good ground game. We need to make the tackles to eliminate the long runs. If we lose this one at home, I would be surprised if we are capable of winning anymore game this year.

Offensive line is our strong point with two good rb and a Qb that can moves the chains.   Ball control and time of possession has been the m.o. so far and the key is if the D can shut down ISU run game.
Need to limit turnovers and penalties(clean game).
Not saying anything we already know but this team is in a rebuild and they can't beat themselves with mistakes and help the opponent.   Control the tempo and ground and pound.
Not sure we can throw over the top like last season with Mitch and Oliver but wouldn't mind a couple times.

Phillips said he believes the team is really good!?!?!.   So if the team is really good should we blame the coaching staff for the 1-4 record?  I thk at this point there are more appropriate descriptions.  Like "we are getting better every week and coming to together as a team".

History they play us tough.  If we win it may be our last win of the year.  Rest of teams have powerful offenses and good run games.  We will get blown out next week at SDSU.

Pretty damn shocked how many people in the m24 lot.  Been here since 8:30am and unreal.  There have been less people here when we have had better records in years past.  lol. Nice to see though.

James Madison scored 53 points on North Carolina last week. Pitt tied UNC at 17 just before half time. lol

They took away BB running and stuffed the middle. Our offense stuck in neutral.
