One of the Twitter feeds I follow is something called coachingrumors.  Not sure why I follow since they never really say anything except to try to get you to buy their subscription.

Anyone hearing anything?  Would seem there is at least some chatter going on.

Spare us all the "Fire Slocum" posts - at this point I don't care what you think - really only care what you know or hear.

Last I heard Slocum was extended Indy. He is slated to handle the summer camps. I am not  twitter fan, so maybe I am not reading everything on the site, but I only see the one mention and a couple of ads. I would think that a major change like this is not something that you can keep quiet.

Slocum had an option year on his contract, which the University picked-up for the 2011-2012 season. That was not an extension. I know of no activity otherwise, Indy. He seems to be very excited about the upcoming season. Check out a 3-part interview with him on paneech.com

I could not agree more with the article that the Butler win was BIG. It is just that when it happened, many of us were dejected before then. I think that somewhat tempered the excitement and recognition the team deserved.
