Just around the corner, any thoughts on the game? Not sure what MSU has coming back.

They went 11-2 last year and are highly thought of this season.

DT Jerel Worthy is #1 DT for the NFL draft, and the #8 overall prospect according to talking head Mel Kiper. QB Cousins is well-respected too, projects as a high draft pick...so this should be very challenging to say the least.

Personally I'd like to see an App State/Michigan outcome. MSU won a lot of close games last year to achieve that record. Then they were embarrassed by an SEC team (Bama') in their bowl.......which was very ugly.

Very very ugly.....If you wanted to "fire" a strength coach........look at that game........or give  credit to better talent and recruiting....just saying.

To go into any game with the mindset of "keeping it close", is a defeatist one.

Let's go up there and beat them.

I was not happy that MSU moved the game to Friday night.  Their players will now look upon this as an opportunity to showcase their abilities to a much wider tv audience.  We do have one small advantage: with the massive player turnover that I anticipate on our defense, last year's game films on that side of the ball will be of very little value to MSU (not that they are worried about it.)

Wick........believe this.  Does not matter Saturday, nor Friday, nor any other
day of the week.  Just bring what you have, execute as best yiou can, and the
best of the two teams will be the victor.   Numbers on the score sheet will always
determine the winner and the loser.   Think about it, seriously with common
sense.  YSU, will give their best, that is a given.  That will not ultimately make YSU
the winner, cause you know the saying "those damn referees". You can only cheer
for what you believe in.....so as I always say
