You mean that guy that went 2 for 11 against us a couple weeks ago? Sorry ...token pick as everyone likes Valpo this year. Has a rebounding edge though. Actually the best player I saw all year was that center from Green Bay. Then again, I only saw these guys against the Guins.

I'm sorry.  I don't really know how well Ryan Broekhoff performed against YSU.  I just know that he won the POTY award by almost twice as many votes to Ray McCallum.  I don't know where Perry finished.

FYI, I'm pretty sure no player has ever won HL POTY from a team that didn't finish in the top 2 of the HL.

You're correct. Look at YSU's Brandy Brown last year in the ladies. Although this year the club was much more balanced, so she does not stand a chance. Although she was preseason POY this year.

You and I both know Slocum will not go out and get a decent big man.  If he does, I'll be very surprized.  He seems more inclined to run a more guard-small forward oriented offense.  Every big man he has gotten  (Eddie D'Haiti) has either quit the program or didn't play up to expections of a post presence.

You think it is that^^^^or that big men will not come to a football school?
I HATE MIAMI.  WATERBOARDING IS NOT TORTURE.  ABORTION IS.

Hopefully we are building a program.  I wish we could make better recruiting inroads closer to home, like Western Pa, Pittsburgh, Cleveland, Akron, Canton....Columbus, Cincy!!!!...I know I am dreaming...but if you can give me another season like this one with a couple of extra wins I will take it...We need to get lucky for once!!!
A Penguin for life!!!

I have a question. I don't follow High School B-ball at all but do any of the local kids(within a 25-30 mile radius) have the talent to play at YSU?

I'm really hoping beyond everything that we do not take a step back from the successes we enjoyed this year, and this season is a springboard to move this program forward.

Bobby Hahn is 6'9'' and he's coming from Jupiter, Fla.  However, no inside game which we need.
