Green Bay Press-Gazette reporting that UWGB is under consideration for the CBI (College Basketball Invitational) and CIT (CollegeInsider.com Tournament). It is characterized as a long shot. It is interesting to see if YSU would be under consideration.
I am not sure if a non-losing record is required for consideration. If yes, I would imagine the number of available teams, especially for the CIT starts getting small.

Maybe UWGB's loss to Youngstown State in the opening round of the Horizon League tournament wasn't the end of the season.
The school has been contacted by both the College Basketball Invitational (CBI) and CollegeInsider.com Tournament (CIT) to say it is under consideration.
With a 15-15 record and an RPI of 143, it's a long shot.
However, UWGB has some history with the CBI. It played in the tournament both in 2009 and 2010. It reached the second round in 2010.
Coach Brian Wardle said the Phoenix would welcome the chance to continue its season and will hold some individual workouts next week just in case it receives a bid.
The CBI is a 16-team tournament open to teams from any conference. The CIT expanded to 24 teams last season. All teams come from mid-major conferences.
Both tournament fields, along with the NCAA and NIT, will be announced on March 11.
