2013 Non-Conference Schedule
« on: September 24, 2012, 01:57:25 PM »
From my friends at WFMJ:

Thursday August 29 vs. Dayton

Saturday September 7 vs Morehead State

Saturday September 14 at Michigan State

We get Sparty between games vs South Florida and at Notre Dame. Sparty opens with Western Michigan.

So we did not get that state of florida game? I know they were trying to get some of the sunshine players a chance play near home.

Fan - I recall ItalianPenguin mentioning that FCS teams can play 12 next year and YSU trying to schedule a 12th.  Might be the Florida game.

At least Dayton and Morehead State are better than Valpo.  Maybe we can schedule Akron, and go spank Zippy at Telemarketer field.

If there's a 12th game it will be an FCS partial scholly game.

We made $650k playing Ohio State. With Zippy's attendance, we might make $50k playing those Kangaroos at Akron. LOL

Only 2 ways I would play the zits again, either they agree to a home and home ( our place first because I do not trust them ) or they pay us at least $400,000.

Maybe we could get them to split some of the gate with us, because we'll have more fans there than they do.

Is the AD still trying to schedule a 12th game, or has this been shelved?

At least it will be nice to start the season at home. Coincidence that we open up with Dayton, and our QB just happens to be from there and he's a senior..... We need to get a game down in Florida. We have a lot of kids from down there, they deserve to get to have their family members in attendance.

traditionally Dayton and Duquesne are the two top non-schollies in the nation. I would not mind playing them every year. I would think that they would want a return game though ...especially UD.

They only averaged 3200 a game this season.  They will never get a return game from us.

Duquesne is a partial schollie team. they play in the NEC conference now.

My friends at WFMJ tell me Duquesne has been scheduled as the 12th game in 2013 - sometime during the league portion of the schedule.
