Indianapolis, Ind. -- For the second time this season,freshman Jackie Podolsky has been named the Horizon League Women's Soccer Defensive Player of the Week, the league announced on Monday.
Podolsky, who earned the same award on Oct. 1, tallied a career-high seven saves in the Guins' 1-0 win over Valparaiso on Oct. 20. She played more than 85 minutes against the Crusaders and recorded the first combined shutout of her career.
Podolsky carries a record of 4-2, has a save percentage of .800 and a goals-against average of 1.10.
The Guins visit Detroit, Wednesday, Oct. 24, 4 p.m. and host Wright State on Senior Day, Saturday, Oct. 27, at 1 p.m.
