Is there a "Breaking Point" for Ron Strollo?

My dislike for Ron Strollo is no secret.  That dislike is based upon an evaluation of his professional behavior.  It is not personal as I have never had any dealings with the man.  In fairness, he handles the finances well and has managed the construction of new facilities and the renovation of old facilities very well.  But just how much longer can we operate with a bad football program before the blame points to the top?

Strollo hand-picked Wolford.  No committee, no alumni or community input.  The decision was all on him.  Now that has blown up in his face.  We have the Watts, high-priced coaches, and a program that is no better than it was when Heacock was forced out (which all rational people understand was necessary.)

So that leads to my question.  Is there a breaking point?  Will there ever come a time when, despite how well-liked Strollo is by Cynthia Anderson and the trustees, the need for a successful football team with trump loyalty?  What do you think?

My opinion for what it is worth.

Ron Strollo should not be held solely responsible for the
failure of Coaches.  All wanted Heacock out of here.
He is now DC at Kent St..  Check the record at Kent St.
So I could ask...was not Heacock hired as HC at YSU because of
finances, did he himself know his ability as a HC.  Was
he given all the $$$ now afforded for a coaching staff
doing no better, NO.  How can you possibly blame Strollo
when ever so many factors go into the entire picture?
I am wondering, who really engineered the spending of
countless dollars for the present coaching staff?

Bottom line...so much goes into the making of a winning
team....Ron Strollo, I do not believe, can be held
solely responsible.  Some pictures are difficult to
see clearly.

There are more sports at YSU than football.

There are a myriad of duties Strollo performs that have little to do with whether Wolford was a good hire or not.

I am not giving up on Wolf by any stretch of the imagination .  I like him---but I also think an older "mentor" type hanging around the team would help him immensely.

For comparison sake Wolf and Heacock do/did not share a level playing field.

 I am not opposed, but not convinced. Heacock came in under Dantonio, learned his job, built success, and was promoted. He worked his way up.
