#2 in Red Zone scoring. ...... #20 in Offensive scoring.

And considering that if the defense could get a few more stops during the game and get the ball back to our offense they would have even better stats. When the D doenst get off the field only yakes away from the offense

TOP is skewed because the defense is so bad on 3rd down, and 1st and 2nd down

We scored rather quickly against USD and a few other teams this year, so that stat is skewed. Fumbles are definitely a problem. The fumble vs. UNI killed us by Ruiz.

However, to argue against #20 offense and #2 redzone offense is ridiculous... When we get in the redzone, we score almost every single time; more often than not those scores are touchdowns and not field goals.

What's skewed is the #20 Scoring and #2 Red zone offense... take away the Blind Center, Jerry's kids and Amputee U to start the season and those numbers would change. The only game that the O was impressive was against ISU (r) at our level.

TOP was skewed the last 2 games because the defense can't get off the field. NDSU had 24 first downs and they got 15 of them without even making to 3rd down. We only stopped them on 3 of 9 thrid downs. That means they possess the ball and take away TOP from our offense. Yes sometimes we have boneheaded play calling that messes up a series, but the offense is usually good for 4 long drives per game against good defenses.

Lets see.. YSU forced 3 TO's and 3 punts the last game against NDSU. YSU punted 5 times and had two turn overs... One of YSU's 3 and out was :55 seconds right after turn over #2.  Sooo.. I guess we'll have to agree to disagree.

Bye bye Shane. Go somewhere else with your so called "sophisticated" offense.
