I don't care about the Fighting Sioux, I care about the Bison.

Speaking of which, why aren't they in the MVFC?  Wouldn't playing their instate rivals and two SD teams be better than flying to Big Sky schools in CA, AZ, and OR?  What gives?

Better all-sports fit. I do not see why all of the Dakotas are not in the Big Sky.

Nation, when I read your post, I assumed that we were picked 7th in the MVFC.  Then when I saw that Power said "no way," I wondered why he thought that we deserved more than 7th in the conference.  Then I clicked that link just for fun and developed a whole new appreciation for Power's terse comment.  Ah, the glory of the internet where the uninformed can make foolish predictions with impunity and have others (namely us) actually talking about it.

Gee could we mention Appy State and the SoCon anymore times ...LOL That conference is crap ...and less than crap now that 2 of the of the big-3 are gone. GSU broke above .500 and they raved ...only to see them lose in round-1 to a limited scholarship club. As with most polls ..they have no idea what they are taking about YSU will be ranked 7th in the MVFC ...with NDSU at #8. Granted both team will out-perform that ...but should not be expected to.
