With camp starting today, it is time to take a look at the team by position ...let's start with the offensive down linemen.
In the middle we lost Chris Elkins. The obvious replacement, at this point, is Page. Fitch's Zaborsky and Parente in the mix. Parente needs to bulk up, but he is from superpower Gateway over in PA ...so the upside is tremendous. Charles Zaborsky is the brother of Steve Zaborky ...it would not surprise me to see both brothers on the O-line this year.
Eisenhuth and Strickland return. In spring we all seemed to like Spencer and Colucci. I also liked Matt Bell. (seems like those Engineers will work out well for us). Newsome has good size and HS pedigree. Fraser is a transfer from Louisville and has to figure in somewhere. A bit small though. I liked Williams last year ...nice size and strong hands, but had bad game against NDSU ...then again who didn't?
In short, I am excited about the potential of this OL ...but such a steep learning curve for 2014.
