Volleyball continues to win!

Other sports are always ignored during football season.  These women deserve commendation for the start to their season.  9-2 record with one of those losses coming against a ranked Northwestern.  One of the wins came yesterday against Virginia.  In a short time, this coach has done a remarkable job in resurrecting this program.

Thanks for the update on Volleyball. Great to see the team is off to a very good start. Virginia was 6-0 entering the game with YSU. Hopefully this continues for the remainder of the season. Will be interesting to see how the team does in their last 4 games before HL play. The only teams YSU has beaten that have a winning record are Virginia(6-2) and Indiana State(8-2):

Tuesday at KENT (7-2)
Friday at Michigan (3-3, but member of BIG)
Friday -vs- EMU(7-2) at Michigan
Saturday -vs- Kansas State(8-1) at Michigan

Lost on Tuesday in 5 sets at KENT(8-2). Yes, it was a loss, but YSU took a very good KENT team a full 5 sets, on the road.

Three very difficult games this weekend. Hang in their Penguins. Regroup, focus, play hard and leave it all on the court.... GO PENGUINS!!!!!!!

Volleyball finishes the OOC schedule at 9-6. They are now on a 4 game losing streak. On to HL play. Hopefully the 6 or 7 quality teams they faced in the OOC portion of the schedule will help the team in the League.

Lost this weekend 3-0 to Michigan at Michigan .... 3-0 to EMU at Michigan, and 3-1 to Kansas State @ Michigan
