Pat Narduzzi to be named Pitt head coach
« on: December 23, 2014, 01:51:33 PM »
Going to be interesting that we will face him as a head coach the first game?  Some kind of irony.

Mooney vs Ursuline.
As an Ursuline guy, it pains me to cheer against one of our own. However, I am also a YSU alum and would like nothing more than to spoil the opener for Narduzzi at Heinz Field. This will make this game much more attractive on a national scale. I can easily see this getting some publicity nationally on an ESPNU/ESPN2 type network. I can also see this selling out.

I hope Youngstown comes in droves to this game. When I say droves, I mean at least 7-8k. No excuse. We did it in the early 90s over to Akron and Kent, why not to Pitt with our new head coach?

Narduzzi has great disdain for YSU.  He "wants to punish YSU" every time a YSU team plays against his team.  Wouldn't that be something if we beat him?  I'm sure some of their player remember the last game.  Loved how Holtz made mark may eat crow.

yes he does, but let's not open bad wounds as to why. I think, as the years have gone bye, Pat has moved on. So let's get them for a second time!!

We have enough fairweather fans. I know quite a few that already told me they want to go that did not attend any games this past season.

Little Doozer is still carrying around his dislike for YSU.  He's going to dislike the Guins even more when they pin an "L" on him come September 5th.
