Absolutely and I think ILSU would win it this year.

Based upon what transpired today, I would be surprised if NDSU could defeat Illinois State on a neutral field.  But Illinois State must stay focused and overcome the experience of playing on a high school field in New England next week.

That team that plays in the high school stadium in New England has made the playoffs 11 years in a row.

New Hampshire is VERY GOOD. I watched their game on Friday against UTC. Both teams are very good. Yes, UNH has a crappy stadium. As nova75 pointed out, they have also made the playoffs 11 years in a row, and this year are the #1 seed. So, ISU gets to go play in the cold and snow in New Hampshire. Also, the student section at UNH games really gets into the games. Very hard place to win for a road team

UNH has been ranked in the Top 25 for 184 straight weeks, the longest streak in FCS. Second is Montana State at 74.... Second in consecutive playoff appearances is NDSU at 5

UNH has now won 14 games in a row at home....42-4 since start of 2007 season...23 of last 24.... 33-2 in last 35 games at home... Over the last 11 years, 7 seasons with at least 9 wins... 6 seasons with at least 10 wins... the other 4 years, 8 wins in 3 of the seasons and 7 in the other... HC who is a Finalist for Coach of The Year, and in his 16th year as HC.... 112-43 over the last 11 years, including 12-1 this year.

And, they have plans for a brand new, state of the art facility. Construction will start in 2015 and be finished in 2016.

Give me the "high school stadium", 11 straight trips to playoffs, 184 straight weeks in Top 25, 42-4 at home since 2007, 2nd consecutive trip to FCS semi-finals any day, over Stambaugh Stadium, 1 trip to playoffs last 11 years, well more than 4 losses at home since 2007, and not even having a Head Coach.

Plus, come 2016, UNH will have a brand new, state of the art facility, and YSU will have a 34-35 year old stadium, that looks like it still has not been finished. And, who knows if YSU will be a playoff team either of the next 2 seasons?

The facility will offer increased and improved seating, lights which will allow for night games, state-of-the art broadcast and WiFi capability, concessions, restrooms, social and gathering areas and a special student section.

EKU is starting the football stadium renovations soon they spent 5 million on the basketball coliseum and are going to spend 15 million on the football stadium to increase capacity to 28,000. They are planning to move up to FBS around 2017 I think

NDSU -15
ISU R -4

***  we are all hoping for an ALL-MVFC final up here in Bisonation **

NDSU has been a different team last 2 weeks with 2 All Americans done, LB Travis Beck & WR Zach Vraa....it has hurt us ALOT especially on defense.

I look for a breakout game this week vs Sam Houston and roll into frisco for #4!

Sorry Lake. One of the few joys I have had in my trips to YSU games in to stare at our 4 Sears trophies. Even though I know that GSU has 6, the only one they have gotten since ours was against us & they are no longer I-AA. It is one of the few joys I have left. So don't take this the wrong way way, but "GO SHS". Here is to hoping that you move up before you get another

I've been to about as many EKU games as YSU games in the last 5 years. I've never seen anymore than about 3K butts in the stands. By the looks of the Indy State game they had about 1K.

EKU was in the power of the 80's, while we were the power of the 90's. Heck Tressel left the OVC because he could not beat EKU and get an invite. Smart move. Also, Hood would have been a great hire here.

The UNH stands themselves look fine but who puts a track around the field? Is it a design from 1950? I'd take our stadium over that any day.
