YSU Penguin Athletics / HL Games

What happened to UWM Panthers??  They are just falling apart!  They lost to WSU.  Also, Detroit has won 8 out of their last 10 games.  I hope the Guins can finish the season strong but still a lot of challenges in our way...

Buffalo, Toledo & Akron............

 Akron (3-4) has played Alpo (Lost 62-59) Detroit (killed them 81-63) & has CSU upcoming on the 10th of December.

Toledo (7-1) has played UIC (W82-67) Loyola upcoming on the 10th.

Buffalo (4-2) 0 Horizon Teams

My heart wants 3-0, but for some reason my head keeps telling me 1-2 on this trip.....

I would love for this team to step up and make some noise in the league but until we can close out games and win a few in a row against decent competition.... I'll say (1-2).

Ok, it sounds like the state of detriot men's basketball is out of control.  Are the really down to 8 total players?  Well I really hope this team doesn't have a major let down.  We will be on the road this Thursday and Friday.  Is it possible we take the next two?  I had the opportunity to watch the wright state vs gators game and wright state held their own.  In fact, their inside play looked pretty good for a young squad. 

Anyways, I'm jumping head.  We need to focus on the titans.  Hope we can continue adding W's this season.

Ok, with the playoffs out of the picture it's time to turn to the hardwood.  Our guys will be traveling to lions country on Wednesday.  The good news is we can watch PSU today vs. USF @2:30.  Maybe get a good idea of our chances.  USF has struggled last year and this should be a good barometer for our team.

I know USF is a big east team but last year the upper half of our league would make them look silly.

Ok, I've been trying to keep my mind off the playoffs.  Anyone out there have good info on UC-Riverside?  I'm to lazy to look it up myself.  Do we have a good shot @ going 3-0 for the first time since 00-01??

Anyone else watching this game?   . I actully had a chance to speak with the Cleveland state coach after the big win and they really said some nice stuff about our program and the positive outlook for us.  Granted they just beat a top ten team.
