Pride, be careful what you say about big men.  Someone may jump down throat indicating we can't recruit them because our program has been down and they just refuse to come here.  Everyone else in the league continues to load up,  while we continously watch their big guys jump over our 6'7 guys for easy put backs season after season.

This will be my last post for awhile.  I enjoy reading all your comments and learn a lot from everyone posting on here.  All I have been indicating is that I don't want the program to regress and continue its upward  trend .   My hope as is probably everyone's else's is to remain competitive and progress within the league.  Hopefully, someday make one of the post season tourneys.

Yes, stache, and one of those new recruits is 6-9, but tends to be perimeter shooter.  But here again big guys will not come to Youngstown.  If we can find a 6-9 perimeter oriented big.  Then we can find one that is willing to mix it up inside.  I want the program to move forward and not backward. I feel we will need of some interior players, and that is my concern.  Not trying to argue with anyone, just stating a fact that I see may hurt us next season.

I know what I see we are offering, and I see no one over 6'7"on the recruiting tread..  That's a pretty good indication to me.  Hell, Valpo gets guys from overseas constantly.

You're telling me we can't find a 6-9 , or 6-10 JC player somewhere to play here. Bull!   Then don't complain when we end up back at the bottom of the league, and everyone in the league is jumping over our 6-7 forwards for lay-up after lay-up, and inside put backs.  Slocum is just not aggressively seeking them.  You tell me how Valpo, Wright and Green Bay end up with them year after year.  We can only hope Larson and Chojnacki get their act together soon.  Yea! I know our program is down, but don't tell me we can't find be men.

Yep! That's going to help us right back to the Horizon League basement.  Don't tell me there are no JC big men to pick up the can play inside and give us half a chance to compete in this league.  Every year the same thing we're recruiting a 6'4 or 6'2 guard.

Yes,  two Damian Eargles would be good, however, I'm tired of seeing other teams jump over top our guys for easy put backs.  As far as waving a magic wand, you tell me how the other teams are getting 6'9 and 6'll guys.   Detroit gets them,  Wright State has a sven footer!  Just asking a question.

Every Horizon League team 1-5 above us is in some kind of torney (NIT, CBI or NCAA).  If we keep progressing and don't take too much of step backwards, maybe we could be considered for one of the tourneys is coming years.  Should help recruiting, even though you have to pay the CBI or CIT, (whatever they call it) to get in.  I'm just hoping we don't go backwards with the progress we made this season.

Bobby Hahn is 6'9'' and he's coming from Jupiter, Fla.  However, no inside game which we need.
