wondering out loud if Evan needed to recruit a power forward type.  When Dynes is out our biggest guy is 6-6 with the exception of Kirkland .  I thought this would be good shooting team and a team that can score the ball based on paper.  Based on early season results it is not and if things don't pick up then can only hope that the Horizon is down.

The Syracuse game has given me false hope.   Sounds like I'm raising the white flag a little premature.

17 unanswered points for SFA as they lead 30-24 at the half.  Sounds horrific.

LOL you just beat me to it

YSU up 24-13 with just over 8 minutes to go in the first half & SFA goes on a 17-0 run to close the half. Unreal

Horrible loss and we lost to a losing team on the road when we were 4-0.  Shooting was so bad.  Lets hope the men can compete tonight.   SFA has size.

Any chance for a winning season ended when Cameron, the freshman with star-quality upside, when down with a leg injury. We already lost the big freshman center from West Virginia to a season-ending injury in the preseason.

Jackson brought in three transfers after she was hired. None of them can help us. She starts all three and they collectively went 4-28 today. Transfer Watkins looked great against a D2 opponent; did little against D1.

I wish that Jackson would bite the bullet and play the four remaining healthy freshmen over these place-holders. Turn the inevitable losing season into a developmental year for the young ones (I sound like Phillips.)

Wait till you guys get to endure another year of Potesta in front of a microphone for the men's games. Is there a more clueless, cliche-ridden commentator in the country?

Presby knocks off Monmouth today 71-61.  I figured Presby was at best the 3rd best team in the tourney and never figured they'd sweep all 3 games. They did need OT to beat SFA and beat winless Monmouth by 10 so their "upset" win by 25 over YSU was obviously the most impressive.

Women lose at Bucknell 51-36.  YSU with 15% shooting going 9 of 60.  Ron Potesta said this could be a "magical season" after the win against Mercyhurst.   I said earlier in this thread that it would be a losing season.  I hope Ron is right.
