Like you guys I'm listening to Rob.  It's too bad that's there is no tv coverage and I thought at least the SFA game would be on.espn+.   Guys are making a great run the 2nd half.

Hey everyone... Rather than starting a separate thread, I wanted to link you to a Twitter/X thread documenting all of our 2025 recruiting class commitments.

We are up to 14 commits thus far, including two very impressive ones that committed at the start of the week.

1. Jussiah Williams - A 3 Star Safety from Dayton that had 24 FBS offers, including offers to Cincinnati, Indiana, Kentucky, Pitt, and Wisconsin. https://247sports.com/Player/jussiah-williams-west-46140286/

2. Jackson Wiley - A 3 Star WR from Lewis Center that had 12 FBS offers, including Coastal Carolina, Kentucky, and a batch of MAC schools. https://247sports.com/player/jackson-wiley-46134578/

YSU is getting some turnovers, knocking down 3's, and doing better on the boards in the 2nd half.  After being down 14 late in the first half, YSU is up 5 at the 12-minute timeout!

Maybe Dynes is foul prone.  Is so we are in deep trouble rest of season.  We shall see. Gotta control the boards and adjustments will need to be made at half.

Not a good first half for YSU.  Down 9 at the half, was 14 before YSU went on a 5-0 run to the end the half. YSU getting dominated 27-16 on the boards & 11-1 on the offensive. That's the big difference as Monmouth has gotten off 14 more shots. Just 7-12 from the FT line.

Only 2 points & 0 rebounds for Dynes. Already has 3 fouls. And that's after not scoring and only having 2 rebounds against Syracuse.  And only 1 rebound against Ohio State.  Hard to believe only 3 rebounds in 2.5 games

Dynes in Foul trouble again.  Could be a long season if he continues to foul.  We seem to be shooting horrible.

Next to the codes for the US nuclear arsenal, the length and details of Phillips' extension is the most closely guarded secret in America.

I even looked on the event's website and nothing about TV is mentioned https://www.gazellegroup.com/main/axe-em-classic/

However if you look at host Stephen F. Austin's website https://sfajacks.com/sports/mens-basketball/schedule it lists all the games and it shows ESPN+ for their games against Presby tonight & Monmouth tomorrow, but not YSU on Saturday.  The ESPN+ schedule shows the same thing.  Very weird!
I did the same research and I even looked into the nec League website for possible tv coverage, I found nothing.
It is possible that SFA might have a contract to carry their games on ESPN +.
I looked at the YSU MBB website, it didn’t show tv coverage for our game vs Western Michigan. But, I went to ESPN+, it showed that game will be broadcasted. YSU website does not list too many tv coverage on our games, including the league games. I know all league games are on ESPN+ or other ESPN channels. Our sports department is not doing their job again.

I think everyone can agree that we were out coached in every game this year when we were unable to make adjustments and or counter- adjustments. Since coaching is clearly a problem for us, if he does not improve on our coaching, better recruiting is not going to take us to the promised land.

Phillips hasn't proven he can win on the road so probably a sub .500 season again in 2025.  He has yet to hire someone who knows more then he does (which isn't much).  Many inexperienced coaches will hire someone loooong in the tooth to help their adjustment.  It proves he is arrogant and is afraid to lose his job.
