Let me start by saying regardless of who our coach is/ was I feel like pulling the trigger too early is the biggest mistake a program can make.   The job of a coach in today's college football is very difficult especially at fcs level in MVFC.  That being said 7-4 has to be the minimum expectation next year.  That should get us in the playoffs. Anything less than that a major coaching shakeup would be fair game.  7-4 may sound like low expectations however with the meat grinder of a conference and a money game that would be a good showing.

It would have been shocking if he had stayed. I hope that he lands someplace that will give him an opportunity.

I thought he was the best qb at the spring game. Apparently, coaches didn’t think so.
It has been reported we also have a freshman qb coming in next year. Wondering if that has anything to do with his decision to leave.

I also thought this as he presented a more balanced attack and was a pass first QB. We do have a freshman from Florida coming in that looks like he can sling it. Maybe if we get a couple of deep threats he will compete for some playing time soon!

Good talk by a Phillipps .  He talks a good game now we got to prove it in the off season.  Recruiting he and his staff are not good at bringing in players that are our MVFC quality.   I still think a change is needed but we shall see.   Another piss poor year next year would be the nail in the coffin for Phillips.

Seems like we have to depend on 570 for the games. Rob S does a good job announcing the game anyways.  Usually I watch all games on the road on ESPN+ .    I wonder why no coverage on tv.

You knew he was gone. I hope he dies well.  It obvious it’s Brungard or Bust!

Its Brungard or Bust and Phillips or Bust.  If he doesn't deliver Phillips will be GONE when the contract is up!

Next to the codes for the US nuclear arsenal, the length and details of Phillips' extension is the most closely guarded secret in America.

Doesn't appear that any of the 3 YSU men's basketball games over the next 3 nights will be televised- that's disappointing.

YSU has never played any of the 3 (Monmouth, Presbyterian or Stephen F. Austin)

Monmouth is 0-5 but their losses have been to Michigan St, Temple, Northern Illinois, Rutgers & Wichita State)

Presby is 2-3 with wins against Carolina Christian & Wofford and losses to Charlotte, NC State & Kennesaw State)

SFA is 2-2 with wins against Dallas & LeTourneau and losses to Drake and Arkansas State.

YSU is a 4.5 favorite tonight. SFA is an 8.5 point favorite against Presby. Anything less than 2 wins will be disappointing.

I am surprised that the tournament organizers couldn’t get ESPN+ to televise any of the games.
