Men vs. UDM
« on: January 02, 2016, 06:16:02 PM »
What happened? I thought we had this one for sure. Then I went for dinner and we were way down. Look at the difference in rebounding and we allowed 34-points to one guy. I like our new look though, we were so much more the aggressors in the first half, UDM did not know what to do.

Someone has to calm this Santiago kid down.  For a point guard, he gets extremely rattled at the slightest pressure.  He is very turnover prone in every game I've seen.

How do keep this within single digits when we get out-rebounded 53-20!?

We were rattled when they pressed us the first ten mins of that second half.

We have no inside game, even if we have Bobby Bain, we still have no inside game. There is no hope for YSU in the Horizon League. We will probably win 3 games.

Why does this 6-8 kid Slocum keeps raving not get any playing time?  I think he is red shirt freshman!

I think he still has issues with his foot and as a result has limited playing time.  It would sure be an improvement if he could be on the floor.  We are getting killed in the paint.

Interesting post on an HL fan forum:

http://horizonleaguefans.freeforums.net/thread/771/who-nkus-first-win

Although the sample size is small, the favorite as NKU's first HL win is.....that's right......YSU.

YSU plays at NKU on 01/14, and Massey predicts that game as NKU's first HL victory.  In fact, Massey only predicts two HL wins for YSU MBB...both against UIC.

NKU and YSU had two common OOC opponents, Toledo and Michigan, both of which NKU had a smaller margin of defeat.
