Seems like we are not good in all phases of defense. Watkins having an off day passing but running all over us.  Two years in a row we let a passing team in Villanova run all over us.

All u need to do is look at our 2 deep chart and know we don't have thenhorses to compete.   The assistants are no help in recruiting . I feel bad for the coach cause I thk he's a pretty good guy but doesn't have the resources to compete.  There is a noticeable absence of sun belt players on the roster.  The coaching staffis no help.  With the lack financial support for coaches and NIL the future looks bleak.

Despite the pick I thought Beau grew during the game and looks like he can move the chains going forward.   Ethan Wright deserves more touches.    Defense against the run was pathetic.

Sick and tired of Hannon and his sidekick saying I see a lot of good things happening!   All I heard was I defense getting gashed!

Defense got ripped. Gave up over a hundred rushing to a qb.  Gonna be a long year….

We knew the defense was the question mark with the loss of 10 starters so I am not concerned about that. We need to score 35 a game to stay competitive and that will not happen with the current offensive scheme. I think Beau is a winner and has a great heart but I don’t think he is the answer and we need to utilize him where he can be the most effective like in an H back or motion receiver where he can get in space. Out longest pass wa 18 yards and probably lost were YAC. With so many transfers it will be difficult to get momentum. I sa let some other QBs play the next two games and evaluate for Pitt game. Otherwise we are in for a long season.
