Penguin Game Day Schedule: Penguins vs. Red Flash

A full afternoon of activities will be part of Saturday's Youngstown State non-conference game against Saint Francis (Pa.) at Stambaugh Stadium. Kickoff is set for 4 p.m. with tailgate lots opening at 10 a.m. For tickets call (330) 941-1978.

The tailgate lots and YSU Athletic Ticket Office are set to open at 10 a.m. on Saturday. A reminder to fans that they can save $2 per ticket on advance sales. Reserved tickets are $16 in advance of the game while gameday the price is $18. For general admission seats, purchasing in advance costs $12 while on the day of the game the price will be $14.

Senior citizens can use a Golden Buckeye card to save $2 on advance and gameday sales. Tickets for children 12-and-under are available at half-price ($9 for reserved and $7 for general admission on gameday). YSU Faculty and Staff get half-priced tickets in advance of Saturday and YSU students get free admission with a valid student ID.

Fans are reminded that all outside booth sales are cash only and the only place that accepts credit cards is the Athletic Ticket Office inside the stadium.

Saturday's pregame tailgate fun begins at 1 p.m. In the M-7 Tailgate Lot, the First Degree band will kick off the day on a rousing note.

The YSU football team will have its tailgate walk at approximately 1:40 p.m. through the M-24 Lot. Fans are encouraged to lineup and greet the team as they head towards the stadium.

At 2:45 p.m., the YSU Marching Pride will be conducting its Ice Breakers event on the grass near the Andrews Wellness and Recreation Center to get fans in full gameday mode.

Fans attending Saturday's game will receive a free Tailgate Koozie courtesy of Youngstown Coca-Cola and 21 WFMJ.

For those individuals who cannot make Saturday's game can follow the game via LIVE STATS | LIVE AUDIO | LIVE VIDEO. Video is available for $9.95 while stats and audio are free.

9 a.m. - Athletic Ticket Office opens
10 a.m. - Tailgate Lots (M-24 and M-7) open
1 p.m. - First Degree Band in M-7 Tailgate Lot
1:40 p.m. - YSU Football "Team Walk" Through M-24 Tailgate Lot
2:30 p.m. - Stambaugh Stadium Gates Open
2:30 p.m. - North/South/East Side Ticket Booths Open/Handicap Parking Available behind East Stands/Shuttle Service Available
2:45 p.m. - YSU Marching Pride Ice Breakers south of Stambaugh Stadium
3 p.m. - Mosure Hall of Gridiron Glory Opens
3 p.m. - 570 WKBN YSU/Pizza Hut Tailgate Show Live from M-24 Lot
3:40 p.m. - YSU Marching Pride Pregame Show
3:50 p.m. - Tailgate Lot Closes
4 p.m. - Kickoff

Halftime: YSU Marching Pride, North Allegheny High School Band

Postgame: Fifth-Quarter Call-in Radio Show on 570 WKBN

Game Replay on MyYTV at 8 p.m. on Saturday and Noon on Sunday (Channel 13 and 108 on Armstrong Cable and Channel 247 on Time Warner Cable)

Looking forward to seeing the Guins play tomorrow. No BabyGuin will not be attending, he will be with HubbyGuin all day.

The GuinFamily is doing awesome. BrotherGuin is in Harrisburg, and is doing great. Of course the GuinFamily grew by one in the offseason. I have an 8mth old little boy. I just today bought him his first YSU shirt.
