Four Conference Road Games Set to Be Televised in Youngstown

The Youngstown State football program will have their four Missouri Valley Football Conference road games televised live the athletic department announced on Wednesday.

WBCB, The Valley's CW, will televise at least three of the four games starting with this Saturday's game at Southern Illinois. Kickoff is set for 7 p.m. at Saluki Stadium in Carbondale, Ill.

This Saturday and next, the Penguins' contests at Southern Illinois and Indiana State will be on WBCB TV. On Time Warner Cable in the Youngstown area it is Channel 16, on Armstrong Cable it is Channel 14, Channel 18 on Comcast xfinity, Channel 14 on Direct TV and on local digital it is 21.2.

The contest at South Dakota will be on WBCB as well, with the UNI game's station to be determined.

All of the remaining regular season and any postseason contests will air live on 570 WKBN AM and on iHeartRadio, with the pregame show starting 30 minutes before kickoff.

The final four remaining homes games will be carried on MyYTV. Each contest will feature a pregame show hosted by Chad Krispinsky and Dave Sess.

WBCB is available in the Youngstown area on the following channels.

The road games will also be available on Watch ESPN via ESPN3.

Wonderful for those who can no longer do the road games.  Also in my opinion should create interest to anyone who cares about YSU football.  So many away games miles and miles away, very difficult to draw a fan base.

Anyway...good luck to the players...thanks to those who travel to Carbondale to cheer the team.
