We are hiring the same firm that does the terrible green team commercials.  The idiots don't understand that they should NOT under any circumstances target Y-town.  They need to target a national audience and that will make it more legit to the Y-town brain dead.

Something like this needs to be made every week.  It is relatively low cost and will cause interest and curiosity.

Why not email our athletics marketing department and run your ideas by them???

Curious what sort of response you will get.

We rag on fargo marketing.....but we've come along ways plus espn gameday really helped.

But being in youngstown friday, at 4 different bars.  Saw 1 person in ysu apparel, not 1 bartender or bar had YSU swag up on walls etc.   Plenty osu garbage.

Your marketing team needs to hand out some free stuff.

We're a finicky bunch Lakes.  OSU will always be first in YTown.  YSU would need a nice run (similar to what you guys have done and maybe not even the NCs to go with it) in order for fan support to rise.  We were really spoiled in the 90s and it hasn't been close to that since.  Hell our 2 Catholic schools draw better than YSU does.

btw....nice to meet ya on Saturday.

I cringed during the NDSU first video.  You cannot compare the struggles of Nelson Madela to a football game.  I found it horribly inappropriate.  Quote Johnny Unitas or something related, but not Mandela.  The second NDSU video was excellent.  From a strictly presentation standpoint (ignoring content), both of the NDSU videos were outstanding....and made the YSU video look amateurish.  Again, this falls under the purview of the AD.  Maybe a "Fire Strollo" thread should be started listing these examples of ineptitude.
