Guins vs. ILS
« on: November 29, 2014, 04:29:06 PM »
Nice game here. Almost like watching a woman's game. Everyone waits for their opportunity. Guins have had a nice comeback after being down by 6 at the half.

That they did. We had no chance once it went into OT ...ILS never trailed.

Lose by 12 in OT! Wow, This team is gonna be bad. Once you get Bobby in foul trouble (Which is every game) and are forced to play Fletcher (Who shouldn't have a D1 scholly), the team has no shot. Besides Keene, there is no pure shooter and scorer on this team.

I don't think so 05 ...they look for opportunities more than last year. Cole had to make a free throw in regulation and it was over ...but he missed. Then Stewart charged for the basket & pulled up too soon and left it short. Either of those and we win in regulation.

Hain needs a better sheet than 2 for 10 from the floor.

We were 14 point dogs and the Redbird fans thought they would win by 20. I'm not for moral victories, but this performance proved to me this team is further along than I ever anticipated. Road wins over Robert Morris and South Dakota, two teams we beat last year, would be big for this team.

Keenesanity has his YSU MBB.

Bobby Hain might be the softest Center I have ever seen play...

Maybe, maybe not.  I feel for him.  We need more big players than we have--he can't handle it all alone.

We would have been bragging had we beat them. You could see the momentum swing late in the game toward ILS ...I just wish we would have put it away.
